Lost Bikes?

Your bike went walkies at this year’s event? It happens (more often if you don’t use a lock, or label it, or dress it up so it stands out), but for those who’re still holding out that DPW and our Lost & Found crew picked theirs up, here’s info on the process.

If our Lost & Found volunteers were able to link the description of a bike with those left on site, bike owners will be able to pick them up from the 23rd of May untill the 16th of June – from Monday to Friday between 10AM and 2PM – in Cape Town.

To be reunited with your positively identified bike, please come to our offices at 178 Lower Main Road, Obs, and our crew will assist.

Please note: only if you’ve been contacted by our Lost & Found crew confirming your bike is among those brought back to Cape Town (at significant cost, by the way – it costs a packet to hire a large trailer and send crew to & from the Tankwa in a heavy duty vehicle) will your bike actually be in the batch brought back.

All bikes not positively identified will, as in previous years, be donated to members of the Tankwa Karoo community.
