Any person wishing to enter the event by way of the airfield must pre-purchase a once-off Airspace pass at a cost of R300 before the event (or R500 from Saturday 25th April 2020). This pass is per person, is once off for the entire event, and can be bought at our ticket checkout along with event tickets.

Passengers on charter flights, self-fly pilots entering the event and skydivers all need to purchase an Airspace Pass.
Passengers leaving the event by air will need to have an Airspace Pass. Keep your Airspace Pass safe during the event in order to depart without additional costs.
Airspace wants to welcome you in style and needs to plan for your arrival as much as possible in advance. The airport is opening on Saturday before the event starts so the team will have limited access to internet. Price goes up on Friday night 24th April 2020. Persons who arrive at the airfield without an Airspace pass will have the option of purchasing one at the airport gate, for a fee of R500.
Please be aware that the Airspace Pass is in addition to your AfrikaBurn entrance ticket.
Persons arriving after 17h00 on Friday 1 May 2020 will NOT be allowed to enter the event, as the event gate and systems close at this time. If the returning flight is full or there is no return flight for that day, you will be escorted by security to the gate and have to find a ride somewhere.
